17 (A)For he shall go [a]before him [b]in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the [c]hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the [d]wisdom of the just men, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

18 Then Zacharias said unto the Angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife is of a great age.

19 And the Angel answered, and said unto him, I am Gabriel [e]that stand in the presence of God, and am sent to speak unto thee, and to show thee these good tidings.
